In 2009, the format of the operation changed to accommodate groups only and by appointment. This allows families, sports teams, birthday parties, church groups, civic organizations to have the patch to themselves. This personalized outing provides the opportunity to carve their pumpkins here to save the mess at home. Also, a bonfire can be arranged to allow the group to roast their own hotdogs and bring the makings for delicious smores!
